Splash Page: This is the initial page that a user sees on a website.

Spider: A software program that searches websites and reports the data back to a central database.

Stickiness: Is an important measurment of the website's effectiveness to make a customer return to the site at a later date.

Text Messaging: This is a communication method to send short digital messages from one mobile phone to another.

Title Tag: This is a HTML descriptive tag used by search engines to name the website.

Traffic: Traffic is simply the measurement of visitors who go to a website.

Unique Visitors: Is a user who has not visited a website during a predefined period of time.

Upload: The process of sending a file digitaly from one computer to another.

Up Selling: Encouraging a customer to buy additional products that they were not planning on purchasing originally.

URL: Stands for Uniform Resource Locator. This is also called the domain name.

Virus: These are sinister computer programs that can destroy your system if anti-virus programs are not being utilized.

Visitor: Is a unit measurement to count traffic to a website.
